Hot & cold tops & panels

The special properties of Pyrolave make it uniquely suitable for incorporating technologies for heating or cooling  within custom-designed pieces.  For example, a removable heat mat can be installed underneath a Pyrolave top or panel, so that it can act as a warming bench in a food service area, with far greater appeal and style than messy bain maries.  Other uses we have developed include upright panels as heated towel rails.  These "Hot Spots" are normally adjustable up to around 100c.  Cooled recesses can also be incorporated by embedding evaporator coils to cool the stone. ​ You can also cook directly upon the stone using our exclusive and patented seamless induction technology    ​
