April 2006 — Sydney

Pyrolave Australia was launched at Designex 2006 in the exhibition centre at Darling Harbour.

Pyrolave won the Designex award in the category of innovations for our unique induction cooking system.  Michael Smith (left) of Pyrolave Australia receives the award.

Geoff Leach, of Pyrolave UK, who travelled to Australia to assist with the launch, said, “Our stand was very bold & colourful & certainly one of the most eye catching displays at the show - it was a perfect setting for launching Pyrolave in Australia and winning the award was the icing on the cake”.

The bar is in three pieces 70mm thick with milling out to the underside.  The dwarf partition wall also in Pyrolave separates the retail area from the eating section.

January 2007 — London

The stylish magazine 25 Beautiful Kitchens featured a stunningly coloured kitchen in Putney London, with a dramatic Pyrolave island benchtop (2.6 x 1.2 metres) incorporating a sink and carved drainer ribs.

Within one of the smaller benchtops on the side of the Aga oven, an induction cooking unit was installed for cooking directly onto the Pyrolave benchtop.
